Jane Falburi young housewife on a farm in new England. Its economy in ruins, as is already the third year, the crop failure. She and her governess Artie barely make ends meet, in addition, the last two employees decided to leave her to work. Despite such difficulties Jane was not discouraged, she goes to town takes credit seeds, fertilizer and a tractor, and she decides to sow and reap.
Back at the ranch, the girl finds a whole crowd of young people who are discharged from the truck theatrical props, making it a good old barn in a rehearsal base for a future Broadway show. It turns out her younger sister Abigail invited her boyfriend Joe derosa and his friends will be happy to move him to a ranch in order to save on rent space for rehearsals, and also Abigail promised a major role in the show.
Jane initially negatively met this venture sisters, but, on reflection, put the instead of the rent of the barn guys need to work on her farm, until it is finally delivered a performance
