Sirocco

The action takes place in 1925 in Damascus, where there is a war between Syrian rebels and French troops. Harry Smith — an amoral American arms dealer selling weapons to Arab rebels in Damascus, trying to overthrow the French protectorate. Once in the restaurant he meets violet, a friend of the chief of French intelligence Colonel fer, who wants to meet for talks with the leader of the Syrians, the Emir Hassan. Fer forces Smith him to arrange a meeting with Hassan.
