The end of 1944, we are approaching the fifth winter of German occupation. For the assassination of the Nazi hangman, the Nazis decide to shoot seven hostages-Dutch. Among them a police inspector Bakker, one of the leaders of the Resistance. Under questioning by Bakker asked to find out where Pete Kramer, the commander of the guerrilla groups. If he does, the shooting of hostages will be cancelled. Meanwhile, associates of Bakker on the freedom are preparing a mass attack and escape.
