Plot Summary

Tokey-ito, the leader of the "sons of the Great bear" of the tribe Dakota, invited the Lieutenant Roach of Fort Smith. Tokey-ito white fears of betrayal and willingly would fight against them with the Supreme leader Tashunca-Vitko, but the elders decided otherwise. When he arrives in Fort Smith, accompanied by his personal enemy Fred Clark, nicknamed "Red Fox", his suspicions come true. Whites want to drive the Indians off their land granted to them under the contract, as there found gold. Tokey-ito refuses to move to the reservation with barren lands, and put in jail. Defeating the rebellious Indians and forcing them to move, white release tokey-ito free. Meanwhile, his people have already realized their mistake
