The story of the struggle of the Cuban people for their independence is shown through the lives of three women. The heroine of the first novel is forced to betray family for the love of a Spanish soldier. The heroine of the second Novella is forced to leave his family for love. And finally, the heroine of the third story is trying to defend their right to work in the farm.
