Fårö island is familiar to moviegoers around the world primarily as a place of shootings of a legendary burganovsky masterpieces "Persona", "Passion" and "Through a glass darkly". This island is connected with the biography of the Director himself, who lived on fore almost half a century.
In 1969, concerned about the mass departure of young people from the provinces in Stockholm, Ingmar Bergman made a documentary about his beloved island that Swedish critics immediately recognized one of the best paintings of the Director.
