Plot Summary

In an aristocratic house in Paris lives a mother cat with three kittens. Mistress loves them and will all must depart this fascinating animal. But the evil Butler wants the money went only to him. He kidnaps her favorites and throws in the village. Back home it helps a delightful and charming stray cat with his friends.

The plot of the cartoon based on the true story of the cat family that lived in Paris in the early 20th century, and inherited from the hostess to all of her condition.

A character named Shoo-Shoo from the start was intended to sound by Louis Armstrong (1901-1971). Even his image was written off by the famous musician, as he plays the trumpet, some of the features of shape including the characteristic gap between the front teeth. Alas, because of the illness Armstrong was not able to take part in the scoring. He was replaced by actor, singer, dancer and musician Scatman crothers (1910-1986), who was told to "pretend Satchmo" (the nickname of Armstrong's).

The sons of Duchess's kittens, Toulouse and Berlioz have names according to the artist-the impressionist count Henri Raymond de Toulouse-Lautrec-Monfa (1864-1901) and composer and conductor Hector Berlioz (1803-1869).

Hunting dogs Napoleon and Lafayette have French names, respectively commanders Napoleon I Bonaparte (1769-1821) and Marie Joseph Field Yves Roche Gilbert du Mottier, Marquis de La Fayette (1757-1834).

The image of the stray cat Thomas O'malley charged singer, songwriter, jazz musician and actor Phil Harris (1904-1995) who voiced.

The last film work of bill Thompson (1913-1971). The actor died less than a year after the release of the cartoon on the screens.
