Plot Summary

A girl from a provincial Russian town dreams of becoming an actress, and while selflessly plays Baba Yaga in a city club. That's where it finds its Director who intends to make a film about Joan of Arc. Dream come true: she was invited to be the lead, and she begins a completely different life, full of true artistic suffering and insight.

Inna Churikova and Gleb Panfilov, after the success of their first overall picture was going to undertake the adaptation of the history of the French national heroine.
