Plot Summary

On the space station, whose staff has long and vainly trying to cope with the mystery of the planet Solaris, covered with Ocean, comes a new inhabitant, psychologist Chris Kelvin, to understand the strange messages coming from the station, and "close" it together with all the barren "solaristics". At first it seems that the few survivors on the station scientists crazy. Then he himself becomes the victim of a terrible obsession: he is his former lover Hari, once on Earth committed suicide.
