This picture opens a series of films about anti-national activities of the Greek Catholic Uniate Church in the Ukraine. The Vatican for centuries encroached on the lands of the neighbouring Slavs, and sought to draw the East to Catholicism. He used the Uniate Church, in order to support Ukrainian nationalists.
