Plot Summary

The TV series tells about the life of a group of surgeons working in a mobile military hospital during the Korean war in the early ' 50s. Characters Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (mash) trying to escape from the heavy daily work. This results in unpredictable and inappropriate behavior, which helps them to maintain soundness of mind in an unhealthy environment. The characters of the series — serious people who turn to humor to defuse after the oppressive atmosphere of operating rooms where they provide first aid to the injured on the battlefield. Their humor — a kind of protection from suffering.
