A veteran of the Vietnam war, Travis Bickle has its lonely taxi the night streets of infinite city, and before him unfolds a dark panorama of human sins. As the old Testament prophet, he hopes that one day heaven will be sent to the ground saving the rain that will clear new York from centuries of dirt.
And when hope dies, there is only hatred. Rain of fire will fall upon the heads of sinners. The taxi driver will take care of it.
