Most of the film was filmed in the Lithuanian SSR: in the training center of airborne troops in Gailiunai and its surroundings, in Kazlu-Ruda (PCC) at Fort N IV in Kaunas ("false" ZKP), the bridge over the river Nevezis, located on the current A1 highway "Vilnius-klaipėda" (it was settled by a group of Lieutenant Tarasova). All aircraft scenes were shot at the airport Vitebsk-North. The scene with the changing of the guard at the flag (at the beginning of the film) and interviews of paratroopers major by Moroshkina was taken to Lefortovo in Moscow.
