Galileo

Today every child knows that the earth revolves around the sun. And in Europe of the sixteenth century believed that the Earth was the center of the Universe! Galileo was the extraordinary astronomer and inventor who discovered how it happens neither really. He told everyone about his discovery, but the Ministers of the Church considered it false doctrine and even put Galileo under house arrest for the whole 8 years! But he has not abandoned his discovery. His knowledge and courage has allowed science to make a huge step forward.
