In the hottest season of the year, the maniac in a black mask kills women. One of the victims caught him a revolver, but he took off the mask, what really took her by surprise and distracted. Shooting her a maniac disappeared, but she survived in the hospital. A female detective uses her resemblance to the victim in order to catch the culprit the "bait".
