In one of the filming days filming the scene in which a plane at night have made a steep dive. While the earth plane was aimed powerful searchlights. The first pilot Locklear a few times before takeoff asked technicians to extinguish the lights part, so he could see when to get out of the peak. But by accident forgot to do. The pilot, blinded by the spotlights directed the plane into the ground, and shattered. Ormer Locklear and the second pilot Milton Elliott died on the spot. The frame with the crash of the Director is put to the final installation.
