Young couple relaxing in a small country hotel. Suddenly, a man is abducted by Death. The woman finds a mysterious entrance to the underworld and meets Death, who tells her three different stories occurring in different, sometimes unexpected places. In each of these stories, a woman trying to save her beloved from his final tragic fate, fails. A young person understands the significance of the stories and makes the only move she can to be reunited with her lover.
