The White Sister

Angela was a beloved daughter of a rich Italian nobleman, who dies in a fall from a horse. Although she is the heir, her older sister burns the will and thus becomes the main heir. Luckily, Angela got to marry the dashing military officer Giovanni Severini, but he is captured by Arabs during an expedition in Africa. Older sister throws her out. Being without a livelihood, and in memory of the dead bridegroom the girl becoming a nun, not knowing that her fiance escaped and returned to Italy.
