The guardian of the peace of the Great Khan of the Mughal Empire Prince Rudjito Singh falls in love with a young Zemgaļi, the concubine of the ruler. Abducting the girl, he tries to escape with the help of his faithful servant Kavalas. But, overtaken with a rush, forced to leave his beloved in the hands of his pursuers, and seek refuge in distant and obscure Europe. On the ship carrying the Prince on a strange continent, he meets actress Anna, who, seeing the exotic texture Singh, invites him to be her partner on the set.
