1921. In the Odessa region wielded the white guard gang chieftain of the city, nicknamed the beasts of the Forest. Supported by the representatives of foreign capital, the gang achieves temporary success, but soon in the environment, its decomposition begins. Young Cossack Yukhym right hand Zabolotny, after much deliberation, goes to the Reds. Behind him the gang leave and others. Red guard units, among the soldiers which is Yukhym, eliminates the gang of Forest animals.
