Plot Summary

In the house of the deceased Gregorio Pantaleo Giuseppe, Alberto di Paolo Santamaura gathered his relatives, brothers and sisters, to attend the reading of the will. In the house, strange things happen: they are moving objects, moving along the wall is a portrait of the deceased. Is it his spirit? Here at home there come three girls, daughters of one of the brothers, fans of the famous Maestro Gelsomino, composer, and came to see, he is in those places. Upon entering the house the girls are exhausted from hunger of man and lead him into the house. His name was nicolino. It all strikes a striking resemblance to the portrait of the deceased. But before the reading of the will it turns out that the lawyer needs to find more of twins — native sons of the deceased who were born from his relationship with a circus performer he once loved. Nicolino similarity with the portrait of the deceased allows us to suspect that he is one of twins. But the Maestro, whose portrait of a girl wearing a similar to nicolino as two drops of water, maybe it's the second twin?
